Apple Crumble Porridge Recipe


Porridge for breakfast is the perfect way to start your day.

Combining different flavours boosts this breakfast staple and our delicious Apple Crumble recipe is definitely one to try! Pair it with our serving suggestions at the bottom of the recipe for an extra burst of flavour.

1/3 cup quick oats
1 1/4 cup water or milk 
Pinch of salt 

Stewed Apple
1 Tbsp butter or coconut oil
1 Tbsp honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp sultanas
1 apple, peeled and diced


  1. Heat oil (or coconut oil if dairy free) in a medium sized saucepan, add apple, sultanas and cinnamon and cook, stirring frequently, for 2 minutes until apples and sultanas are just starting to soften. Add honey 
  2. Once apples and sultanas are soft add oats, milk (or water if dairy free) and salt. Bring to a gentle simmer. Stir frequently until porridge has thickened, about 2 minutes. 
  3. Pour porridge into a bowl and serve with some of the below suggestions

To serve:
Sprinkle of granola 
Coconut flakes
Cows milk or non-dairy milk 
Chia yoghurt
